Fishing at Liberty Lake officially opens for the season from March 1st through October 31st of each year. Other lake species include yellow perch, bass, catfish, bullhead fish, bluegill, and other warm-water species.

Shore access is limited due to residential development. Clearly marked fishing areas are easily accessible through the park.

While visiting Liberty Lake Regional Park, visitors may use the public restroom facilities and picnic areas. There is an 8.3-mile trail loop around the lake and plenty of backcountry hiking available. Those who want to create a weekend fishing trip can reserve a lake-view cabin.

A small fee is collected to cover the park grounds' maintenance and applies to anyone over the age of six. Family season passes for up to six family members are available for $50.

Anyone who wants a healthy mix of relaxation and adrenaline needs to take a tubing adventure in the Spokane River, the river that runs through the heart of Spokane's downtown, where its many historic homes are nestled. Tubing is an enjoyable and exciting ride that anyone five years or older can enjoy. FLOW Adventures has long been serving residents and visitors with this seasonal activity.

From there, the two-hour floating adventure begins. The float will end right at the parking lot.

The entire cost for the state-required personal flotation device, tube rental, and shuttle is $25 per person. Anyone who brings a cooler may rent a cooler float for $15. To protect valuables, a dry bag is available for purchase for $20.

Tubing adventures are only available on Saturdays and Sundays, so it is important to plan and book your reservation early.
