Looking for a New Breakfast Spot in Spokane?
It’s always so much easier to enjoy breakfast out on the town when the days are long and filled with promise. And, now’s the time to find a new favorite spot to enjoy a croissant and a cup of coffee while you read the newspaper… or to indulge in a full breakfast you would never dream of preparing at home. Why not give one of these places a try this weekend?
Italia Trattoria – Your first thought for breakfast might not be a busy Italian restaurant, but the morning bites served out of this establishment will change your mind. You’ll find the usual favorites along with a few menu items you just don’t want to miss. Why not try the Farmer’s Breakfast with white bean and tomato ragu along with house-made Italian sausage and fried eggs? You’ll find Italia Trattoria at 144 South Cannon Street; they open for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m.
The Atrium Café – If you’ve never stopped in at this café at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park, breakfast is the perfect time of day to give it a try. The leafy greenery and comfy décor will make you feel like you want to move in, but it’s the breakfast buffet that will keep you coming back time and time again. You’ll find classics from across the country – and the world – alongside Pacific Northwest dishes. There’s also an a la carte menu; the choice is yours between 6 and 11 a.m. every day of the week. No reservations needed, just head over to The Atrium Café at 303 W. North River Drive.
Frank’s Diner – For something a little more casual, but no less delicious, give Frank’s Diner a try. It’s the state’s oldest dining car restaurant and was first built as a “Presidential” observation car. More importantly, it’s been voted as Best Breakfast by locals and the owners continually give back to the community. Breakfasts are made from scratch at both Spokane locations every day of the week from 6 a.m. For directions and a glimpse of the tempting menus, visit the Frank’s Diner website.
